Abortion is Okay Under SOME Circumstances

Today, at a press conference, our great 'Christian' president was asked what he thought of the abortive drug 'Plan B' . His reply had nothing to do with the fact that this drug may cause murder, nothing to do with the law of God 'Thou shalt not kill', or even about the necessity to teach abstinence as a 'moral alternative'.

Instead of these answers, our president, who claims Jesus Christ as Savior, said that he thought that 'Plan B" should only be available by prescription. Wow!

"In an exclusive interview with ABC News' Charles Gibson, Bush said he believes that both Christians and Muslims worship the same God."

“Do Christians and non-Christians and Muslims go to heaven in your mind?” The President replied: “Yes, they do. We have different routes of getting there.”

Bush is a heretic...plain and simple. It should come to no surprise that he compromises on "Plan B", since he compromises when it comes to the true GOD.

I don't see how we can claim to be waging wars to defend the nation when we ourselves slaughter the unborn in the millions. It's a sad sign of the times when the church is silent on these matters - without its leadership, it's no wonder the nation falls into folly. The President's church is failing him by not practicing discipline, and as such the nation will further suffer.

Simple answer: United Methodist

Does the President know what this drug is or did some reporter ask a gotcha question?

First, good point Mark...

Second, not that I want to defend this man, ever, but Plan B does not work, or at least is not suppose to, as an abortive pill. It prevents an egg to be released, it prevents fertilization of an egg, and/or it can prevent attaching to the uterus. It does not affect an already attached sperm/egg to the uterus.

Preventing a fertilized egg may be pretty controversial, as this would be considered a "baby" even though not attached to the uterus yet, but on its way, so, therefore, an abortive procedure?

And, as president, I sure would hope he knew what Plan B is.

Why would the President know what Plan B is? I'm a political junkie and I don't think I've ever heard of it.

Here's the Q & A:

Q Thank you very much. Mr. President, some pro-life groups are worried that your choice of FDA Commissioner will approve over the counter sales of Plan B, a pill that, they say, essentially can cause early-term abortions. Do you stand by this choice, and how do you feel about Plan B in general?

THE PRESIDENT: I believe that Plan B ought to be -- ought to require a prescription for minors, is what I believe. And I support Andy's decision.

Kinda hard to read that in a positive light.

Hey guys, I just gotta say, "plan B" is just a beefed up super dose of the same substances that the regular christian household uses daily in the form of "the pill". So why is this inconsistant for the Pres? It is the same potential baby killing system that the prolifers themselves use.
1) prevent ovulation
2) prevent fertilization, by two means, if step one failed
3) prevent implantation, if step two failed.

In step three the mother's body is prepared to disallow the baby to attach and be supported and so the baby gets aborted.

I think there is alot of ignorance among Christians, particularly among Christian Pastors who advise their flock that the pill is ok.
