Reformed or Dispensationalist?

I have many friends that are Dispensational in their theology. Some know why they are Dispensational, others do not. There are some major differences between Dispensationalists and Reformed people in the way that they view the Bible. I think that this is a fair analysis of what some of the differences are, including some of the major flaws with the arguments.

I was mainly under the impression that the distinction laid in the eschatology. Man alive, was I wrong. It's a whole hermeneutical problem.
Well, at least I now know that I am certainly not dispensationalist.
-Abraham being the father in faith to all believers is rendered foolishness by Dispy theology. Hence, the Church historically regarding their faith are a bunch of spiritual bastards.

I think that it must also be said that there are many Progressive dispensationalists who are moving away from the "Scofieldish" errors and towards a more biblical theology.

Droll writes, "Abraham being the father in faith to all believers is rendered foolishness by Dispy theology."

Are you sure about that?

-By what I've read in the sub-posted article, I couldn't really come to any other conclusion. What grounds could make think otherwise on the matter?

-Would Israel have to come to Christ for salvation or not in the Dispy system?

-Would any of Abrahams line have to come to Christ or not in the Dispy system?

-If God gives salvation on different terms to Israel than He does to the Gentiles, then how could Gentiles stake any claim to Abraham being their father in the faith. The substance of that faith is different. Again in this distinction that the Dispy's draw the Church are a bunch of spiritual bastards in regards to having a father in the faith.

-Will any of Israel come to Christ? Do they need to do so?
