Well, I'll just have to make a cake! I was thinking of throwing a birthday party, but most of my friends wouldn't appreciate that, plus what could we drink? Maybe Heineken?

Clearly you would drink grape pop and sprite.

What does one get someone for their 497th?

Oh, no. He would definetly celebrate with a fine French wine. Forget the beer or worthless pop. :)

I think that perhaps the best solution to this dilemma is to have beer and wine. And perhaps some rum just to play things safe. Because that's what Calvin would've wanted.

That is probably my favorite picture of Calvin.

Ms. Wino has a point, a good French wine would have been appropriate. And some swiss cheese, since it's Swiss and Calvin was all about hole-liness.

I think that the Genevans will celebrate Calvin's birthday with a stiff shot of Gin. (the word comes from Geneva).
I honestly think Calvin would be partial to wine.
